British popstar Ed Sheeran is back with his eighth studio album, ‘Play’, set to drop this Friday.
The "Photograph” singer describes the album as his “technicolour” response to one of the darker periods of his life, blending pop, folk, and his signature acoustic style.
Sheeran said he recorded ‘Play’ across multiple countries, wrapping up in Goa, India, and says it’s all about creating joy and connection through music.
Fans can expect a mix of heartfelt ballads and catchy sing-alongs, capturing both his personal journey and the sound that has made him one of the world’s biggest artists.
He’s also gearing up for a US tour, temporarily relocating with his family to be closer to the shows, including a performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas on September 20. Europe, New Zealand, and Australia are next, with tour dates running from December through March 2026.
