Rapper Offset is showing nothing but support for Cardi B as she prepares to release her sophomore album, Am I the Drama? on September 19.
Spotted at LAX, the rapper told TMZ he’s excited for her new project and isn’t worried about any competition between their albums. “She’s going to do her big one, too,” he said.
Offset also reflected on his own release, Kiari, which dropped last month and debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard 200, calling it his most personal and best solo work yet.
Though the pair split last year, Cardi filed for divorce after nearly six years of marriage; they remain connected as parents to three children: Kulture, Wave, and Blossom.
When asked about the possibility of a lasting friendship with Offset, Cardi kept it brief: “I tried. Next question.”
Cardi recently opened up to Billboard about her relationship with Stefon Diggs, admitting it wasn’t easy to go public but she loves him.
