Share

On October 7, fans will get to see Malcolm-Jamal Warner on screen one last time.
The beloved actor, who passed away in July at the age of 54, made his farewell performance in FOX’s crime drama called "Murder in a Small Town".
In the episode titled “Mother Love”. Warner plays Richard Buscombe, a father grappling with grief and suspicion after his former wife is murdered soon after returning to town. His devotion to his daughter shines through, but the pain of the past makes him both sympathetic and a suspect.
Executive producer Ian Weir praised Warner’s work, saying, “He brought a depth to Richard that surprised even us. The performance is grounded in honesty, you can feel both the anger and the love in every scene.”
Warner’s family has honoured his legacy, with his mother launching the Malcolm-Jamal Warner Living Legacy account to celebrate his life and career.
Season two of Murder in a Small Town, based on L.R. Wright’s novels, begins September 23, with Warner’s final episode airing October 7 at 8 p.m. ET.
