People’s National Party PNP President Mark Golding has expressed disappointment with the outcome of Wednesday’s general election, but says he remains proud of the platform his party presented to the Jamaican people.
According to preliminary results, the Jamaica Labour Party JLP holds the lead with 34 constituencies, while the PNP has secured 29.
Mr. Golding noted that the PNP’s proposals were designed to raise the standard of living for citizens.
Mr. Golding stressed that the party’s gains in this election, reflect significant progress.
