Cardi B’s new single “Imaginary Playerz” isn’t hitting the way fans expected!
The track debuted at No. 147 on the Spotify U.S. chart before slipping off completely.
Also, it didn’t touch the global chart.
Over on Apple Music, it peaked at No. 56.
The single, which samples JAY-Z’s 1997 classic “Imaginary Players”, was supposed to drum up hype for her long-awaited sophomore album "Am I The Drama". Instead, its lukewarm numbers have people questioning the rollout and questioning if "Bardi" is falling off.
The video, however, is doing much better. It racked up 1.8 million views in just two days.
After six years without an album, fans are starting to wonder: is the momentum slipping?
