Sizzla Kalonji will be celebrating 30 years in the entertainment industry with a concert dubbed "Rise To The Occasion".
The event, set for October 19 at Sabina Park, was launched last evening downtown Kingston.
Several industry players and government officials including Prime Minister Andrew Holness, were invited as a show of support.
Sizzla who burst on to the scene in the 1990s, used his music as a vehicle for his message of hope for the marginalised.
With over 50 albums under his belt, the reggae firebrand spoke with the Zee about his musical journey.
