The Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) has expressed sadness at the passing of Don Wehby, OJ, who the group descibed as a transformational business leader, a committed public servant, and long-standing friend and partner of the PSOJ.
The former Senator and CEO of Grace Kennedy passed away last evening after ailing for some time.
The PSOJ says Mr. Wehby’s contributions to Jamaica’s private sector and national development are immeasurable. PSOJ says his professional journey, most notably as Group Chief Executive Officer of GraceKennedy Limited, was marked by visionary leadership, unwavering integrity, and an enduring belief in the power of business to uplift communities and transform lives.
According to the PSOJ, Wehby's insights helped to shape critical advocacy efforts aimed at improving Jamaica’s business environment and economic competitiveness.
