Over the weekend, Reggae Sumfest 2025 took over Catherine Hall Entertainment Complex in Montego Bay, and the energy was nothing short of electric. Thousands turned out for Jamaica's premier music festival, and trust us, the vibes were immaculate!
Of course, the Zee Team was on the ground capturing every moment. Check out all the highlights on our Instagram @thezip103fm.
After a 13-year hiatus , partly due to incarceration , Dancehall artiste, Laden made a triumphant return to the Sumfest stage. The crowd vibed to tracks from his catalogue including “We Remember,” “Working Hard,” and the fan-favourite “Time to Shine.”
Dancehall veteran Harry Toddler followed, taking fans on a nostalgic trip with iconic dance moves like “Angel.”
Then came rising star Dyani, dressed to impress in a red tux with a black tie. The ladies swooned as he performed hits like Wife Anthem, Señorita, and Live a Little.
Govana didn’t come to play either. He lit up the stage with back-to-back hits, but the real show-stopping moment was when he gifted his mother her dream car mid-performance. In true Govi-Govi fashion, he brought out a red phone booth to deliver his hit HAMANTS Convo, once again proving his flair for creativity.
Masicka then tore down the stage. The “They Don’t Know” hitmaker had the entire venue singing along to his hit singles, word for word, bar for bar.
Next up, Skeng stepped out dressed as the Joker and while the look was playful, the performance was anything but a joke. With his signature high energy, he had the crowd going wild, especially during his hit single "Gunman Shift".
Dancehall dark prince Tommy Lee Sparta followed, drawing deafening screams as fans belted out his songs along with him, proving he still has a firm grip on his loyal fanbase.
Shaniel Muir and Jamal are not to be left out as they also gave riveting performances.
And that, folks, was just Night One.
