Olympic 100m finalist Tia Clayton has been withdrawn from Jamaica's team to the NACAC Senior Track and Field Championships in the Bahamas in August.

Clayton who pulled up in the women's 100m final at the National Trials in June, was among the 47 strong Jamaican team that was announced earlier this week, for the three day event which is set to run from August 15 to 17.

The former Edwin Allen standout, who was listed for the women's 100m, along with Jodean Williams, has been replaced by Jonielle Smith, who was fifth at the National Trials.
