Footballer Kyle Butler is embracing a new chapter in his career as he steps into the role of head coach at Vauxhall High School ahead of the upcoming ISSA football season.
Butler, who most recently played in the Jamaica Premier League with relegated Vere Phoenix United, says the opportunity to lead the Vauxhall program is one he couldn’t pass up.
“This is an exciting challenge — something I’ve always envisioned for myself,” Butler shared. “Coaching gives me a new way to contribute to the game I love, and I’m ready to help these young players grow both on and off the pitch.”
Known for his technical ability and leadership during his playing days, Butler now hopes to bring that same energy to the sidelines as he guides the next generation of talent through one of the country’s most competitive schoolboy football landscapes.
Vauxhall High will be looking to improve on past performances under Butler’s leadership, with expectations already growing for a reinvigorated campaign.
