The Miami-based musical duo Disco Neil and Silent Addy, fresh off their Billboard Hot 100 debut with Moliy’s viral banger “Shake It to the Max (Fly),” is gearing up for the summer and hint....they’re not slowing down.
Currently in France, the dynamic producers told Billboard that they have some “...big records on the way.”
One of the most anticipated is another Shake It to the Max remix, this time featuring the Worl' Boss himself, Vybz Kartel. Fans can also expect a soca version featuring Skinny Fabulous and Lady Lava.
Kartel’s remix is coming just in time for Wireless Festival, while a soca version with Skinny Fabulous and Lady Lava is being saved for Notting Hill Carnival and Caribana.
The duo also shared that the track’s success has sparked interest from several dancehall heavyweights, "With [“Shake It to the Max”], a lot of the legends have been reaching out to us, from Buju [Banton] to Shaggy to Sean Paul to Bounty Killer to Elephant Man to Vybz Kartel. To get that co-sign from the legend and the people who are why we started this thing, that’s all we’ve really asked for."
'Shake It To The Max' exploded thanks to a TikTok dance challenge, with stars like J-Hope, Victoria Monét, and Vic Mensa jumping in. It’s already one of the top contenders for 2025’s song of the summer.
Remixes featuring Skillibeng, Shenseea, Major Lazer, Sean Paul and Gladdest are already out, and clearly, we can expect more.
