“Anora” came out on top during the 97th Academy Awards on Sunday.

“Flow” became the first Latvian film to claim an Academy Award, winning best animated feature, and Zoe Saldana became the first American of Dominican descent to win an Oscar, hoisting a statue for her role in Netflix’s
“Emilia Pérez.”
