After declaring herself an independent artiste, dancehall songstress Shenseea took to Instagram Live to share that her solo status may be short-lived. She told fans that while she’s currently independent, the level she aims to reach in music usually requires label backing.
She spoke about the power of having a team to support your career, noting that artistes can accomplish much more when they streamline and build out a solid team. She said, "...if you don’t have to do it alone, don’t do it alone.
She goes on to talk about how much more can be done when an artiste streamlines and builds out their team." Though she speaks about her eagerness to be a part of a label again, the 'VIP' deejay expresses relief at the breathing space she has been afforded by the freedom of her independence.
