The St James Police were today called to a crime scene where the body of a 9 year-old boy was found in an abandoned car.
Reports are that the boy and his mother were earlier the victims of a carjacking carried out by armed men.
The woman was forced from the vehicle and the men sped off with the child still inside.
The car and the child’s body were found sometime later in the Fairfield Area of Montego Bay.
It is believed that his throat was slashed.
