Jamaica has recorded 9 more Covid-19 related deaths, pushing that tally to 1, 646.
The Ministry of Health is also reporting 837 new positive cases, pushing the country’s total confirmed cases to 72, 824.
Of the new cases, 358 are males, 479 females, with ages ranging from 25 days to 99 years.
St. Ann had the highest number of cases with 147, followed by Kingston and St. Andrew 126, St. Catherine 123 and St. James 104.
124 persons have recovered in the last 24 hours, pushing total recoveries to 49, 045.
There are 21, 671 active cases.
