Jamaica has recorded 9 more Covid-19 related deaths, pushing that tally to 1, 285.
The Ministry of Health is also reporting 580 new positive cases, pushing the country’s total confirmed cases to 57,289.
Of the new cases, 231 are males, 349 females, with ages ranging from 11 days to 101 years old.
St. Catherine had the highest number of cases with 128, followed by St. Ann with 117.
22 persons have recovered in the last 24 hours, pushing total recoveries to 47,411.
There are 8, 225 active cases.
