Jamaica has recorded 9 more Covid-19 related deaths, pushing that tally to 1,869.
The Ministry of Health is also reporting 251 new positive cases, pushing the country’s total confirmed cases to 83, 737.
Of the new cases, 110 are males, 141 females with ages ranging from 59 days to 91 years.
St. Catherine had the highest number of cases with 76, followed by Kingston and St. Andrew with 63.
141 persons have recovered in the last 24 hours, pushing total recoveries to 52, 817.
There are 28, 464 active cases.
