Tragedy struck in Clarendon on Saturday morning when three people, including an eight-year-old girl, died in a motor vehicle collision at the intersection of the Salt River and Mitchell Town main roads.
The crash, which occurred around 9:15 a.m, involved a 2003 white International motor truck and a 2016 green Toyota Corolla.
Also killed were a 44-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man.
The incident adds to the mounting toll of road fatalities this year, with 181 people reported dead in traffic accidents so far—down from 198 during the same period in 2024.
