The St. Ann police will be maintaining a sustained presence in the Spring Piece area of Pimento Walk, near Ocho Rios, following a double murder on Saturday night.
25-year-old Jamaica Defence Force Private Leighton Sinclair and 38-year-old mechanic Devoy Webb were shot and killed just after 11 pm.
Police operations in the area resulted in five women and three men being taken into custody. A gun was also recovered.
Head of the St. Ann police Superintendent Dwight Powell, indicates that varied policing measures will be used in the area.
