For the first time in months, the seven day average for the Covid 19 positivity rate dipped below 5 percent.
National epidemiologist Dr Karen Webster Kerr said on Wednesday, the daily positivity rate was 3.3 percent, putting the seven day average at 4.9 percent.
The positivity rate is one of the key factors monitored by the health ministry in tracking Covid-19.
In giving an update on Covid 19 data, Dr Webster Kerr says more females have contracted Covid-19 , but more males have died .
Kingston and St Andrew , St Ann , St James and St Catherine have the highest number of Covid cases, over the last two weeks.
