Three associates of rapper 6ix9ine are suspected of being involved with the attempted shooting of rapper Chief Keef.
Law enforcement sources noted that they were federally indicted this week, about eight months after someone opened gunfire on Keef in NYC’s Time’s Square.
The shooting, which resulted in no injuries, took place in early June.
Though 6ix9ine was confirmed to be in Los Angeles at the time of the attack, investigators questioned whether or not he had ordered a hit on Keef.
6ix9ine denied his involvement.
The ‘Dummy Boy’ rapper has remained behind bars since November 2018, when he and his associates were arrested on federal racketeering charges.
