Jamaica has recorded 6 more Covid-19 related deaths, pushing that tally to 1,196.
The Ministry of Health is also reporting 342 new positive cases, pushing the country’s total confirmed cases to 53, 237.
Of the new cases, 156 are males,186 females, with ages ranging from 54 days to 90-years-old
Kingston and St. Andrew had the highest number of cases with 73, followed by Manchester with 57 and St. Catherine with 45.
22 persons have recovered in the last 24 hours, pushing total recoveries to 47, 001.
There are 4,679 active cases.
