American rapper 50 Cent will not pay $1 billion to Cory “Ghost” Holland.
Cory, a former ‘drug lord,’ claimed that the “Candy Shop” rapper took his life story as material to make the infamous “Power” series.
According to AllHipHop, the rapper-turned-film producer managed to beat three separate legal claims levied against him by Holland.
Holland filed the lawsuit against 50 in 2021, claiming that the co-creator of the TV series, Courtney Kemp, borrowed heavily from his life without his permission.
Holland claims that he sent Kemp’s father a CD with his documented story, seeking help to get out of the drug game.
Holland also accused the “Many Men” rapper of harassment and intimidation.
However, the judge on the case, Analisa Torres, has officially dismissed all three cases.
Earlier today (August 5), Fif took to Instagram with the announcement. The G-Unit superstar stated, “It’s time to turn up, I’m clear, I’m focused, no confusion, let’s get it.”
