Detectives assigned to the St. Andrew Central Police Division are investigating the circumstance surrounding the death of 5-year-old Jahiar Spencer of Maple Leaf Avenue, Kingston 10, who was reported missing on Tuesday, September 02.
Reports from the Half Way Tree Police are that a Missing Person Report was filed when Jahiar could not be found at his home between 5:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
During a search this morning (Wed), his body was found about 6:48 a.m. in a manhole at the rear of the premises.
The police were alerted and his body was removed to the morgue.
