Jamaica has recorded 5 more Covid-19 deaths, pushing that tally to 1,080.
The Ministry of Health is also reporting 42 new positive cases, pushing the country’s total confirmed cases to 50,166.
Of the new cases, 21 are males, 21 females, with ages ranging from 9 years to 82 years.
Kingston and St. Andrew had the highest number of cases with 8, followed by St. Mary with 6 and St. Elizabeth with 5.
118 persons have recovered in the last 24 hours, pushing total recoveries to 30, 192.
There are 18,533 active active cases.
