The Ministry of Health and Wellness is reporting that 18 persons died from Covid 19 related complications yesterday.
The deaths occurred in persons between the ages of 31 and 93 years old in the parishes of Kingston and St Andrew, St Ann, St Elizabeth, Westmoreland and St Mary.
In the meantime, there were 643 cases of COVID 19 in the country yesterday.
The new cases were reported in persons between the ages of 3 months to 105 years.
The bulk of the cases were in Kingston and St Andrew, St Catherine, Clarendon and St James.
