Jamaica has recorded 16 more Covid-19 related deaths, pushing that tally to 1, 980.
The Ministry of Health is also reporting 205 new positive cases, pushing the country’s total confirmed cases to 85, 680.
Of the new cases, 87 are males, 118 females with ages ranging from six months to 94 years.
St. Catherine had the highest number of cases with 58, followed by Kingston and St. Andrew with 37.
158 persons have recovered in the last 24 hours, pushing total recoveries to 53, 948.
There are 29,168 active cases.
