The country has recorded 1,593 new COVID-19 cases yesterday (JAN 7).
This, bringing the total number of confirmed cases reported to 101,056.
Of the newly reported cases, there were 975 females and 618 males with ages ranging from 12 days to 108 years.
Meantime, the Ministry of Health and Wellness reported six virus-related deaths.
The Health Ministry says the deaths occurred between January 1 and January 6, 2022.
