The Ministry of Health and Wellness says 12 persons died from Covid 19 in its latest report.
The fatalities were recorded in the parishes of St Ann, Portland, St Elizabeth, Kingston and St Andrew and St James in person aged between 34 and 89 years old.
In the meantime, there were 65 new cases of the virus recorded in the island yesterday.
Of the new cases 40 were females and 25 were males ranging in age from 5 years to 92 years old.
The bulk of the new cases were recorded in Kingston and St Andrew.
