UPGRADE UNDERWAY FOR OCHO RIOS PIER

The Minister of Tourism has said Ocho Rios is in line for an image upgrade and is being re-branded under the theme "Where Eden meets the Ocean". 

 

Wykeham McNeill said the Falmouth port which was unknown up to 4 years ago, is now considered a model port, following the completion of new port facilities around the historical theme with the assistance of Norwegian Cruise Lines NCL. 

 

The minister said NCL has agreed to increase their committment to the port of Ocho Rios. Starting in January 2014, the Norwegian Epic, which is NCL's largest ship with a 4500 passenger capacity, will be calling on Ocho Rios.
