RIHANNA'S AFTER A LEAD FEMALE ROLE IN THE REMAKE OF 'SCARFACE'
According to reports, R&B star Rihanna is after the part of Elvira Hancock in the Universal Pictures 'Scarface'remake.
It is said that the 24-year-old singer is desperate to be cast in Universal Pictures' remake of the classic 1983 Al Pacino gangster film in the part of Elvira Hancock, who was said to be originally played by Michelle Pfeiffer.
Sources have stated that Rihanna loves 'Scarface' and that s ome of her music videos have been based on Michelle's character, Elvira.
Reports are that the star has admitted to being a huge fan of the character in the past, saying Elvira has ''ridiculous swagger''.
The new 'Scarface' film will see the action updated to a modern day setting about drug-dealers.
Rihanna is said to have made her acting debut in action blockbuster 'Battleship' alongside Liam Neeson earlier this year.
According to reports the singer is also voicing the female lead in upcoming DreamWorks animation 'Happy Smekday' and will make a Cameo appearance in a new Seth Rogen comedy.
