Black Panther – First Comic Book Movie To Be Nominated as Best Picture at The Golden Globe Awards


On Thursday, Black Panther became the first comic book movie to be nominated as best picture at the Golden Globe Awards.
The Golden Globe Awards are accolades bestowed by the 93 members of the Hollywood foreign press association beginning in January 1944, recognizing excellence in film and television, both domestic and foreign.
The film, which starred Chadwick Boseman, Michael B. Jordan, Lupita Nyong’o and more A-listers—is the first marvel studios movie to score a golden globes nomination in the best motion picture drama category.
the film received nominations for the Golden Globe Awards in 3 categories. Best motion picture (drama), best original score (motion picture), best original song (motion picture) which is “All the stars” by American rapper Kendrick Lamar.
