JAMAICA’S ROVMAN POWELL TO CAPTAIN WINDIES ODI TEAM

Jamaican all rounder Rovman Powell will lead the West Indies in their One Day International ODI leg of the ongoing Bangladesh tour.

Powell has been handed the reigns of captaincy on an interim basis, in the absence of the injured Jason Holder.

Powell is joined by three other Jamaicans in the 14 man squad, including Marlon Samuels, Fabian Allen and Oshane Thomas.

Meanwhile, Darren Bravo who last played an ODI two years ago, T/20 International Captain Carlos Brathwaite and off spinning bowling all rounder Roston Chase are in the squad.

The remainder of the squad is Devendra Bishoo, Chandrapaul Hemraj, Shimron Hetmyer, Shai Hope, Keemo Paul, Kieran Powell, Kemar Roach and Sunil Ambris.
