Suspect to be charged in relation to British-J’can woman’s killing in St. Mary

The Police say charges will be brought against the suspect in the murder of the British woman found buried in St. Mary before the end of the week.

The body of 43 year old beautician Karen Cleary-Brown of St. Mary and London in the UK, was recovered yesterday after Police spent hours digging through dirt and concrete on a premises at the Boscobel Housing scheme where she was building her home.

The Police say they are now awaiting a post-mortem examination on Cleary-Brown, to determine the cause of her death. She had been reported missing last Tuesday by a Labourer employed to her, after travelling to Jamaica to transact business.

The 30 year old man has been in custody for several days. Police say he confessed to the murder but is yet to be charged as he’s being afforded the opportunity to secure legal representation.
