The Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch is reporting improved traffic flow along Spanish Town Road with the opening of the Chesterfield Drive bypass.
The two-lane road was opened on Sunday, December 2.
Commanding officer for the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch, Senior Superintendent Calvin Allen, says that he has been getting positive feedback from motorists.
The road is designed to accommodate motorists from Portia Simpson-Miller Square going towards downtown Kingston.
Motorists going to Half-Way-Tree may also use it as an option to get on to East Avenue from Marcus Garvey Drive.
