Edu. Minister pushes back first component of the Primary Exit Profile, PEP

Grade 6 students scheduled to sit the first component of the Primary Exit Profile, PEP in December will have more time to prepare for the exams. This as the Education Ministry has pushed back the examination date for the performance task from December to March next year.

Education Minister Ruel Reid said the adjustment was made following consultations with stakeholders including the Jamaica Teachers Association.

Mr. Reid who spoke at a Press Conference today said the Ability test component of PEP will be conducted in February and the Curriculum based test will be done in April next year as scheduled.
