Reggae Record Producer, Joseph Hoo Kim dead at 76


Legendary Reggae Record Producer and Founder of Channel One Recording Studio, Joseph Hoo Kim, passed away today.

This after battling liver cancer for quite some time. He was 76.

The label has worked with major players in the industry including Sly & Robbie, Barrington Levy, Mighty diamonds, John Holt, Yellowman among others.

The Channel one sound is predominantly used by many musicians locally and internationally today.
